On May 15th, don’t miss the GOSPEL & POP SYMPHONIC concert with the Royal Film Concert Orchestra and singer Ingrid Arthur. Ingrid, born in Gainesville, Georgia (USA), became one of the most powerful voices in the history of music. Not only is she an extraordinary singer, she is also the goddess of soul, with her rich and powerful traditional gospel background and the spirit of Aretha Franklin, Mavis Staples, and Mahalia Jackson. Throughout her career, Ingrid has worked with many international stars. Her achievements include providing backing vocals on Cissy Houston’s (Whitney Houston’s mother) Grammy-winning albums in 1996 and 1997, Face to Face and He Leadeth Me, as well as on the 1995 Grammy-winning song From A Distance by Bette Midler.
